Computational Design Workshops

Live online workshops delivered by the Bimorph engineers who built the tools Rhino.Inside.AutoCAD and Rhino.Inside.Civil3D

A 3D wireframe model of a spiral staircase structure on a dark gray background. The design features a continuous red curved path tracing the stairs, surrounded by a series of vertical posts and horizontal support frames that outline the spiral shape.

Bespoke and Private Training also Available with Bimorph

Bimorph, the team behind Rhino.Inside.AutoCAD and Rhino.Inside.Civil3D (both developed in official collaboration with Robert McNeel & Associates), run live online workshops in computational design.

  • Every session is instructor-led and hands-on, never pre-recorded
  • Taught by the engineers who build the tools
  • Attendees to these courses also receive a Bimorph certificate of attendance

See below for upcoming courses delivered by the Bimorph team and recommended by Simply Rhino. These brief descriptions of the courses are each followed by a button which will take you to the Bimorph website where you can learn more about each course and book your place to attend with Bimorph.

Bimorph Workshop -
Innovate: Computational Design with AutoCAD + Grasshopper

AutoCAD + Grasshopper + Rhino.Inside · 2 days, live online · £749 + VAT per person

Bring parametric design to AutoCAD with Grasshopper and Rhino.Inside. Over two days of guided, hands-on exercises, you'll build a fully parametric elliptical spiral stair directly in AutoCAD, driven live from Grasshopper — developing advanced visual-programming and procedural-modelling skills you can apply to your own drawings and workflows. Six steps of increasing complexity take you from first principles to a complete model baked into native AutoCAD geometry.

Delivery: Live Online delivery - with a limit of 14 places available

Attendee skill level required: AutoCAD users ready for in-depth computational design; no coding required

Next date: 2-day course - Thursday 10th & Friday 11th September 2026, 10:00–15:00 (UK) each day - live online.

Bimorph Workshop -
Grasshopper MCP

Grasshopper MCP · 1 day, live online · £379 + VAT per person

Connect Grasshopper to AI — without rebuilding a thing. In this hands-on,   one-day workshop from Bimorph, you'll take a Grasshopper definition you already trust and turn it into an MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool that an LLM such as Claude can call in plain language, using Bimorph's Grasshopper plugin and MCP server. You'll learn how MCP works, how to expose the right inputs and outputs, and how to connect your preferred LLM client and drive Rhino from a prompt.

Delivery: Live Online delivery - with a limit of 14 places available

Attendee skill level required: Experienced Grasshopper users; no prior MCP or LLM experience needed

Next date: 1-day course - Friday 23rd October 2026, 10:00–15:00 (UK) - live online

A Grasshopper 3D visual programming canvas showing connected nodes including Merge, Unit Z, Extrude, and Cap Holes. Below the script canvas, an embedded Rhino viewport preview displays a generated 3D spiral architectural structure in red wireframe lines against a dark background.
A 3D CAD modeling software interface showing a detailed architectural drawing of a staircase structure with structural posts.
A user interface screenshot of AutoCAD software. The dark-themed screen displays an oval ring shape divided into numerous radial segments or steps. A properties panel is visible on the left side of the screen.
A technical screenshot of Rhinoceros Grasshopper. On the left, a red-grouped area contains input sliders connected to a component that outputs a long list of data in a black panel. A large white arrow points to a blue-grouped area on the right, where a specialized component processes the data and outputs a structured script or code file in a separate black panel.
A software interface showing a 3D viewport on the left and a node-based scripting canvas on the right. Overlaid in the center is a dark chat window for an AI tool named "Picasso Rhino," displaying a user prompt that asks to populate selected geometry with blocks of people and export the results as editable Grasshopper nodes.
