Using Rhino for Industrial and Product Design Detailing
In our latest free video tutorial series Phil Cook, Simply Rhino's Senior Rhino trainer, looks at using Rhino 8 to add detailing to industrial designs for manufacture and assembly.
For these two videos we assume that we are dealing with the final design and that the draft and other moulding details have been agreed with our toolmaker/moulder.
The first video explores features such as shelling, offsetting and creating a clamshell lip feature. In the second video Phil shows us how to add internal ribs and fixing bosses. To create this kind of detailing, in both videos, Phil uses both Solid and Surface metaphors.
