2025 Events and Activities
In February we held the first Grasshopper UK Meeting of 2025 at Zaha Hadid Architects where we were joined by engineers Buro Happold and Chaos (developers of Enscape and V-Ray) for an excellent Grasshopper community meeting. February’s Grasshopper meeting notes.
Shape to Fabrication, our AEC & Design focused event, was the big highlight of April. We welcomed over 500 people during 4 days at the University of Westminster, London, for 10 in-person Workshops, the 2-Day Conference, the Rhino Developer meeting and the Shape to Fab 'Happy Hour' drinks event which took place at Heatherwick Studio. The feedback from all who participated, supported, and attended was fantastic and we’re looking forward to organising Shape to Fabrication’s 10th birthday party which we’ll be bringing in 2027. June brought us to Arup for the next Grasshopper UK Meeting of 2025. Alongside our hosts we were joined by architects Hawkins\Brown and Arup’s Oasys development team in London for a great meeting with Grasshopper users and enthusiasts. June’s Grasshopper meeting notes.
We were welcomed to Sybarite in October 2025 for the last of this year's Grasshopper UK Meetings, alongside Sybarite we enjoyed presentations from engineers Eckersley O’Callaghan and Asuni, the developers of VisualARQ and LandsDesign. October’s Grasshopper meeting notes.
October also saw the first iteration of our brand new Rhino course for Film and TV Set Design. This course has been developed specifically for those working in the Film and TV industries who want to learn or sharpen their Rhino skills and speed up their workflow in a fast-paced industry. The first iteration of the course was sold out and we’re delighted to say it is back in February with spaces currently available!
Senior Simply Rhino trainer Phil Cook treated us to a free Rhino video tutorial this November, the video ‘SubD Modelling in Rhino 8’ can be found at the Rhino Level 2 training course page. This exclusive Simply Rhino course taught by Phil was full in November but it’s back in March 2026, so check it out if you want to join Phil and gain Rhino confidence and productivity.
What’s coming in 2026?
Alongside Rhino license sales with support, and Rhino and Grasshopper training, we’ll be back with plenty of events. Dates and hosts are happily booked in for next two iterations of the popular Grasshopper UK meetings and we’ll be opening bookings for the first of those, taking place on 17th March 2026, early next year. Looking forward to catching up with the Rhino Grasshopper community for a successful 2026!
