We're pleased to announce a new series of Jewellery & Associated Industry focused Rhino3d Taster Workshops at the Goldsmiths' Centre.
Perfect for Jewellery Designers, Silversmiths & Goldsmiths looking to add CAD to their workflow, these workshops will introduce you to Rhino3d the popular CAD software and RhinoGold, the Jewellery plug-in for Rhino. You’ll get hands on with the software and each workshop offers the chance to produce your own 3D design based around that particular workshops focus.
These workshops are delivered by Simply Rhino’s trainer Rupert Todd, Rupert works with Jewellery, Silversmithing & Goldsmithing and brings that real industry experience to these sessions.

|In this session we explain how goldsmiths can use CAD to help develop their digital toolbox. We will also explain how to model an eternity ring, with central cluster of pear shaped stones as an accent, using the popular Rhino & RhinoGold software.|
In this session, we aim to highlight the relevance of CAD in several straightforward introductory exercises aimed at those new to CAD and 3D Modelling. Led by Simply Rhino tutor and resident craftsperson Rupert Todd, the session will help you get hands-on with popular CAD software and give you a taste of modelling and rendering bowls, flutes, goblets and other vessels.
In this session using a foundation of traditional skills and knowledge you’ll explore how a structured CAD approach can assist with Design and Presentation processes and through to 3D Print & Manufacture. Led by Simply Rhino tutor and resident craftsperson Rupert Todd, the session will help you get hands-on with popular CAD software and give you a taste of modelling and rendering bowls, flutes, goblets and other vessels.
After attending a RhinoGold taster workshop you may wish to learn more and the ideal next step would be the RhinoGold two day training class also delivered by Rupert.
